General expressions are derived for the weight distributions of the binary product codes Sm1⊗Sm2, Rm1 ⊗Rm2, Sm1⊗Rm2, E m1⊗Sm2, and Em1⊗Rm2 , where Sm is the [2m-1, m, 2m-1] simplex code, Rm is the [2m, m+1, 2m-1] first order Reed Muller code, and Em is the [m, m-1, 2] even weight code
