Abstract :
A PSPICE model for the MOS controlled thyristor (MCT), consisting of an SCR section and two MOSFET sections, is proposed. The parameters of the equivalent circuit are calculated from the data provided by the manufacturer and some simple measurements. The simulation and experimental results of a phase-controlled rectifier are compared
