Abstract
Through the careful research of print culture, including newspapers, magazines, and literature of the era, the author portrays 1920s Argentina\´s relationship with science and technology in six "episodes." Her broader consideration is the place of Argentine society in global modernization developments of the twentieth century. This book is a provocative and highly stimulating read.
