Abstract :
A single-feed circularly polarized (CP) patch antenna has been designed. Circular polarization is achieved thanks to a well dimensioned opening through the whole structure. Influences of the substrate thickness and size are investigated. An image sensor is associated with this small-size antenna and takes pictures through this opening, leading to a very compact combination of these two devices.
