Abstract
This paper presents a study of discretization behaviors of two-dimensional equivalent control-based sliding mode control systems. Steady-state behaviors are classified and their bounds are found. Conditions under which the system trajectory in the steady state spends at most two iterations on each side of the sliding surface are given. Theoretical results are illustrated with simulation examples.
