Abstract
This paper presents a parametric model of a triode which introduces seven parameters. It allows calculation of the a.c. and d.c. electrical variables of a class C amplifier from the d.c. anode and grid bias voltages, the load impedance and the a.c. exciting signal. This model can be used for designing the input and the output circuits and for optimizing the performance of the amplifier by choosing the best bias conditions
