  • Abstract
    In this paper, we present an original model to describe the role of the elastic interactions in cooperative spin crossover compounds that switch between the low-spin (diamagnetic) to high-spin (paramagnetic) states. The interactions are analyzed by the way of their effect on thermal hysteresis loop at different external pressures and on the first-order reversal curves distribution. A comparison with experimental data for the pure spin crossover compound [Fe(btr)2(NCS)2]H2O is provided.
