Abstract
The most promising approach to obtaining the extraordinary in-band precision required of the internal DAC in multibit delta-sigma converters is dynamic element matching, in which errors due to DAC hardware mismatch are spectrally shaped to avoid the signal band. Here we propose an architecture based on a vector switching signal and offer a mathematical framework for the analysis and design of such systems
