Major part of power consumption in the Coefficient ROM is attributed to precharge of bit-lines and charge of word-lines. We find that the coefficient access exhibits a low activity, 37.5%. Employing a simple ATD circuit to enable read operations on the coefficient ROM, 61.25% of power consumption in the ROM can be saved
