Abstract
This paper discusses the career in corporate communications or high-tech public relations. This article opened by suggesting the solution of business problems. The marketing of products and technologies is extremely important to commercialize electronic products and technologies. There is frequently a need to market a company´s products to consumer or other technical audiences, which is usually done with writ ten press releases and other forms of written communications. These are then sent to appropriate editors, writers, broadcasters, bloggers, and others who communicate these facts directly to a product´s target market. As such, the writer becomes the designated communicator responsible for writing and developing these materials. As a communications professional, the reader might also find it helpful to join the Technology Professional Interest Section of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
