Abstract :
In this paper, a parallel interference cancellation system using turbo codes is proposed. In general, canceller systems suffer from errors in the initial decision and those errors cause performance degradation. We use turbo decoding in the initial decision in order to remove the errors. Moreover, we aim to improve the performance by feedback of the signal after cancellation. The proposed system has two types of feedback: iteration of the turbo decoder and feedback after cancellation. We evaluate the BER performance of the proposed system and the optimal number of both iterations and feedback. As a result of the computer simulation, the BER performance of the proposed system greatly improved and was superior to the conventional cancellation system
