Abstract :
In this paper we develop necessary and sufficient conditions for being able to choose a controller which stabilizes a closed loop system and simultaneously enables one input to be tracked while rejecting another input for any plant drawn from a set of linear time-invariant, single-input-single-output plants. A computationally tractable method is developed for obtaining the parametrized controllers for the solution of this problem when the set has two members
