Abstract
In this paper, a linearly complex signal detection method is formulated for uplink transmission on MIMO channels. The performance analysis of this detector is presented for uncorrelated flat Rayleigh fading environments. Simulation results of a coded MIMO system employing this detection method and MMSE filtering are within 1.5 dB of the Shannon capacity limit.
