Abstract :
Wired and wireless seamless networks comprised of optical fiber and radio-wave links can provide high-speed, resilient and flexible broadband services, where one of important items is precise and high-speed control of lightwave based on advanced photonic technologies such as digital coherent, high-speed electro-optic conversion, radio-over-fiber, etc. This talk focuses on such photonic devices for optical and radio-wave links, and also on expected performance and function of seamless networks.
