Abstract :
This paper aims to study Television White Spaces (TVWS) technology for deployment of its applications in Vietnam. In this paper, theoretical and practical issues are discussed and concisely presented. At first, the general theory of TVWS technology was introduced, along with the detailed studies on conducting trials of this technology around the world. Subsequently, the article has conducted a study on experimenting with TVWS technology in Hanoi, Vietnam. On that basis, the paper offers suggestions on the possibility of developing this technology in Vietnam in the future.
