Abstract
The flipped classroom (FC) is an inverted version of the traditional learning model. An inversion between in-class and out-of-class activities exists: students learn new content by watching video lectures at home and exercises and group activities are performed in the classroom with teacher mentoring. In this paper, we describe an experiment that involves the use of digital technologies and tools that support the adoption of the flipped learning model. The participants of our experiment possessed an academic background; however, they also wanted to gain qualifications to teach in the Brazilian network of professional and technological education. The main findings from the experiment are related to the students´ and instructors´ attitudes toward the FC model and the type of tools that are employed in the experiment.
