Abstract :
Broadcasting stations require tunable optical filters with a narrow bandwidth in order to increase the capacity of their video-routing networks. A cascaded Ti:LiNbO/sub 3/ waveguide filter composed of two Fabry-Perot filters has been designed for 128-channel 12.5 GHz-spaced dense-wavelength-division-multiplexing.
