  • Abstract
    Dispersion slope compensating fiber, which upgrades installed NZ-DSF to l-band D-WDM transmission line, was designed and fabricated. Both polarisation mode dispersion (PMD) and bending loss are low enough for moduling. It can compensate the dispersion of +NZ-DSF transmission line within /spl plusmn/0.3ps/nm/km over 1580-1620 nm.
