Abstract
The main aim of this paper is to review the recent advancement in the field of RF and Microwave power measurements that have taken place in recent times. The paper also includes the prominent techniques and instruments employed for RF and Microwave power measurements and discuss error correction mechanisms. It includes metrology-oriented crises, such as the basic national power standards, and traceability processes. The paper will be helpful to design engineers to establish an unbroken chain of calibration actions from national standards organizations, and final measurement of RF and Microwave power to set the production or to design an microwave power measurement equipment or to establish a communication tower at mountaintop or at some specific area[3,4].
