Abstract :
This paper studies the stability of switched two-dimensional linear time-invariant(LTI) systems equipping with unstable subsystems with saddle points. Based on the directions and other geometric characteristics of the trajectory of subsystems, several simple stability criteria are proposed for the kind of switched systems under arbitrary switching paths composed of finite number switching lines. An illustrative example is carry out to show the correctness of the new stability results obtained in this paper.
