  • Abstract
The traffic-grooming problem multiplexes smaller-rate traffic streams into higher-rate streams using the smallest number of SONET add-drop multiplexers (S-ADMs). By unifying and extending previous work, two new approaches-single-hop and multi-hop-are introduced and evaluated.
