  • Abstract
    Current Issue of IT and business alignment was top ranked for Chief Information Officer. However, research that discusses this theme is still little and focused on conceptual level. One of the study evaluating IT and business alignment on practical level is SAMM method (Strategic Alignment Maturity Model) developed by Luftman to assess achievement level of maturity criteria/ process alignment. In this research was carried development SAMM assessment method to produce a new method called SACM method (Strategic Alignment Capability Model) where parameter of alignment achievement stated in capability level. Then test carried implementing both method in the case study enterprise with specific processes related to division of Information System and Technology (SISTEKFO) PT. ENTI that are Governance and Scope & Architecture process. The result of this research show that the SACM method has a more strict assessment than SAMM, where the value capability level is smaller than maturity level for the same process. Moreover SACM method facilitate enterprise to improvement IT/ business alignment.
