Abstract
Asset is one form of company´s properties that have characteristic holding advantage period more than a year and used to support corporate operational activities. In order to make the assets transaction recording accurate, information system can be used for asset inventory. In purpose for system can be used for long term usage, it is important for developer to know how to evaluate the quality of asset inventory system if it is developed in object oriented. Based on the problems, this research contributes in term of how to evaluate asset inventory system quality by implementing ISO 9126-1 Model. This model implementation evaluation can be accomplished in two sides of external and internal evaluation. Quality factor that can be evaluated identified based on asset inventory system characteristic. This research is focused on internal evaluation by using object-oriented metrics. Proposed ISO 9126-1 quality model has been internally evaluated by object oriented metric using case study on Politeknik Caltex Riau (PCR) which is one of the organization that engaged in academic area. Based on the evaluation result of the entire class, it obtained that inheritance, coupling and size indicator provide a good value. Based on the results, the proposed method has been able to provide indications of quality on the evaluated software. Pearson correlation analysis used to examine the link between inheritance, coupling, cohesion, complexity and size metric.
