Abstract :
We report on a transparent metropolitan fiber-ring composed of reconfigurable OADMs. Wavelength channel routing by tunable fiber Bragg-gratings and optical switching matrices is investigated. The results demonstrate the feasibility of the high capacity WDM-ring within the KOMNET field-trial.
