Abstract :
Laser Doppler velocimeter performance mainly depends on the doppler signal processing, the key of which is FFT. This study adopted an effective generation algorithm of a rotating factor of FFT pocessor-radix-2 which can reduce the memory spaces and the frequency of memory access. Take a 8-bit and 64-point FFT for example, based on FPGA, this paper designed and built a doppler signal processing experimental platform. By analyzing the signal generated from optical platform the method has been tested. It is drawn that this algorithm can not only improve the speed of the doppler signal processing, but also realize the purpose of reducing hardware area and power consumption; meanwhile, it creates conditions for the design of high-speed micro laser Doppler velocimeter with low power consumption.
