  • Abstract
This study presents a voltage generation behavioral analysis of the thermoelectric module (TEM) in a transient condition. Two configurations module is carried out to perform the observational analysis of the TEM; which is single TEM and multi stage TEM. For the multi stage TEM, another two arrangements is executed by cascading three and six TEM subsequently. In this real TEM application, both TEM´s junction is left for natural heating and cooling. A test rig is developed to obtain the data-driven measurement of both single and multi stage TEM. The measurement data show that both the single and multi stage configuration of TEM able to works efficiently at a test temperature between 50 °C to 100 °C. The implication of this analysis is that a suitable operating temperature can be initially set before maximum power point tracking algorithm is applied later on to any selected TEM arrangements.
