Abstract
Information is asset of an organization, but information can also become biggest liability in an increased risk and cost if not managed properly. Implementation of information management often does not match with the original plan that has been defined. To overcome this, we need a governance to control the implementation of management within an organization, and also to create a secure and have a smaller risk to achieve the goals and objectives of organization. Information governance is known as an approach to better manage the information both inside and outside the organization. IBM Information Governance Unified Process framework is a unified framework that can be used to build an information governance in many sector. But, this paper will focus on designing information governance in statistical organization.
