IT value analysis: Case study of PT. express transindo Utama

Information Technology (IT) is described as a science and an activity of using computers and other electronic equipment to store and send information. Now, IT becomes the most important part of human and organization life. In an organization, IT will act as a support or barrier in organization. In this matter, organization should define and realize the IT which they must use. To gain an advantage of IT, every organization must identify every single value inside their IT. Inside this paper, I will use IT value analysis model that will analyze and determine advantages of IT in an organization. IT value analysis consists of IT resources, IT capabilities, IT core competencies, organization performance and competitive advantage. The analysis will give an information of IT value for the organization and an improvement of its IT.
