  • Abstract
    Representing circuit variables in a frequency-domain complex matrix and nonlinearities by power series gives rise to an intermodulation-balance method. This operates entirely in the frequency domain and predicts IMD with accuracy and efficiency comparable to an alternative spectral-balance technique. The technique is verified for a single-amplifier filter example
