Abstract :
A novel approach for the design of optimum multiplier-less FIR filters is presented. This method is based on the sequential and modified sequential searching (pseudo-genetic evolutionary) methods. The proposed techniques are applicable to any filter type, and they do not pre-empt the architectures of the filter. The results have indicated their superior performances compared to the conventional methods
