  • Abstract
    A method for evaluation of adaptive robust watermarking techniques is proposed. We first propose a general multi-index model of watermarkings, then a reasonable multi-index evaluation system is obtained. Finally a new method for multi-index decision (maximizing deviation method), is proposed and applied to two image adaptive watermarking techniques which are designed and implemented in the DCT domain as well as the wavelet domain utilizing visual masking models. Our experimental results show that the watermarks based on the wavelet transform reach the maximum data hiding in the local image more ideally
