Panel Discussion

A panel session on "A LOOK TO THE FUTURE" was held to discuss requirements for large volume production of GAAS MMICs. Panel members were as listed below: Moderator: Dwayne Ragle, Texas Instruments, Dallas Members: M. Little, RADC M. Mezger, Raytheon G. Roberts, Hewlett Packard H. Stinehelfer, Raytheon and Made-It Associates Discussions by panel members and those in attendance were primarily directed toward the following topics: * General requirements for moving from low volume to high volume * Present state of test equipment vs. requirements * A projection of volume requirements * A review of module test set requirements * A review of some test set development plans/desires * A review of calibration standards and needs Active audience participation was encouraged, and many in attendance responded with pertinent and timely questions and comments.
