The sealed electrical connector

There has been much said already about automotive wiring and connectors and this paper seeks to concentrate more specifically on the electrical connector which has been developed for the heavy goods vehicle, bus and off highway industries including agriculture. This connector is a two-part assembly containing one or more electrical contacts which when connected has an engagement seal and integral wire seals which will resist the ingress of the most penetrating of substances, not least that associated with high pressure steam cleaners.<>
