Title :
A novel two site frequency reuse plan
Author_Institution :
Motorola GPD, Swindon, UK
Abstract :
A novel two site frequency reuse plan is described. This plan can offer better interference protection level than that of 4×3 as a result of optimal frequency allocation to cell sites, further sectorisation and use of antenna beamshaping. Detailed C/I analysis is presented. The effect of practical issues, such as irregular site locations, inaccurate antenna bearings and lognormal shadowing, on C/I performance of this plan is addressed
