Abstract :
This paper analyzes the relationships between scale of the board of directors in iron and steel industry and corporate performance empirically. First, the concept of variables, the sample choices, research methods and trains of thought are introduced; then, the hypotheses about the relationships between the board of directors characteristics and the corporate performance are brought forward; the result about the relationships between board of directors scale of listed company in iron and steel industry and corporate performance is obtained based on the demonstration test and empirical analysis. At last, the suggestions about how to adjust the scale of the board of directors related to company scale are put forward to improve corporate performance of the listed company in iron and steel industry.
