Abstract :
Mobile communication systems place stringent performance requirements on the array antennas deployed at network base stations. An efficient patch moment method capable of handling multiple dielectric layers is used within an OMD optimisation loop to design a triband array element for the GSM900, DCS1800 and UMTS bands. The accuracy of the MoM code is verified against measurement.
