Abstract :
A new algorithm has been presented for reduction of oscillator noise in two steps. Noise correlation has been decreased by an adaptive filter stage, and then noise has been removed directly based on our previous results. The algorithm has been successfully applied for experimental noise reduction of a 1.8 GHz transistor oscillator, exceeding 60 dB at 1.6 GHz. Periodic impurities have also been removed.
