  • Abstract
    The paper presents a new principle of constantly tangential NC turning for aspherical revolved curved surface and a real-time control method for rotate angle and turning speed of tool which are needed in machining. Then, servo control system for tool carrier of constantly tangential turning is designed and the test system of constantly tangential NC turning for aspherical revolved surface is constructed. Thus the system can the turning angle and turning point of tool keep invariable while the tool is working, and the tangential feed speed of the tool along the tangent of contour invariant too. Consequently, the contour error of aspherical revolved surface can be reduced.
