Abstract
A simple reflection type stub resonator is designed at 6.0 GHz, which minimizes the end-gap coupling losses and therefore does not require tedious trial methods for calculating the coupling gap. Moreover, the performance versatility of the resonator could be increased by magnetic tuning.
