Title :
MiddleVR a generic VR toolbox
Author :
Kuntz, Sebastien
Abstract :
Creating a virtual reality application requires the use of a 3D engine. Most 3D engine don´t support virtual reality hardware or have the special features needed to render images for head-mounted displays, stereoscopic walls or CAVEs. MiddleVR is a generic VR toolbox with the following goals: - add support for VR in 3D engines - speed-up the application creation process with high-level building blocks such as interactions (navigations, selection of objects, manipulation), immersive menus and custom GUIs.
