Abstract :
We propose a simple lumped RC circuit to model coupled RC transmission lines. The proposed circuit model gives very accurate numerical results for the 50% propagation delay. The peak value of crosstalk can also be estimated by using our proposed model accurately. The RC trees are widely used as a typical model for on-chip interconnects and the 50% propagation delay is conventionally used as a delay model in the synthesis of VLSI circuits.
