Abstract
New method of CW laser radiation direct energy conversion into energy of AC electrical current using a plasma optical cell with quasistationary optical discharge is described. The results of experimental research of intercell radiative gasdynamic and thermophysical processes determined the efficiency for all stages of energy conversion in optical discharge, supported by CW CO2 laser radiation are presented
