Abstract :
Circular random variables arise from a variety of sources in our daily lives, for example the wind directions. The ordinary linear circular regression is the simple profile, but it occurs frequently, particularly in calibration problems. An F control chart is proposed for monitoring the parameters of the linear circular-circular profile simultaneously in Phase II, and a control scheme is developed for Phase I. Simulation study illustrates that our proposed control chart performs well.
