Abstract :
This paper presents an ultra-fast CMOS DAQ system for OSAM, which is also applicable in RF transceiver systems. It has a Sub-Sampling SHA architecture which achieves an equivalent sampling rate of 10.2GHz using standard 0.35μm CMOS process. A PLL-based pulse generator is used to drive the SHA. Its output pulses are carefully aligned by digital logic so that jitters are reduced as much as possible.
