Abstract
The propagation of the sound in the determined medium has been investigated. There exist many methods to study the sound field in the ocean. In practice the ocean is the random medium. It is a well known fact that there are surface waves, a rough bottom and internal waves. Therefore, to take into account the ocean´s variability it is necessary to obtain the more accurate model of the sound field in the ocean. The transforming of the spatial sound field structure, while spreading in the underwater channel with the random inhomogeneities, is considered. The sound intensity redistribution, caused by the channel random inhomogeneities is investigated. The limit cases are analysed. The estimation of the “limit regime” range is derived and the results of the numerical calculations are presented
