  • Abstract
    The goal of this work is to approach models for three dimensional surfaces, known also as digital elevation models using different kinds of wavelets and different compression ratios for representing the surfaces. We have used real and smooth (ideal) models and the final assessment has been done by the effect of compression on image quality.
