Abstract
Career guidance for high school graduates is important for their further personal and professional development. The accurate, complete, concise and understandable presentation for high school graduates of the educational and occupational offer made by higher education institutions is an important aspect in choosing a career. This paper presents the link between a proper communication and career counseling. Means of communication are emphasized, both traditional and modern, used in the high school graduates information process for their guiding towards a career in engineering. We execute an impact analysis of the different communication means used for presenting the educational offer and career opportunities to attract young people towards a higher technical education in the specialty electrical engineering.
