Abstract :
In this feasibility study, single detector experiments were carried out in order to study the system characteristics of a cadmium zinc telluride (Cd1-xZnxTe) sample for pulsed X-ray computed tomography (CT). The experimental observations indicate the presence of long trailing edges which may be associated with charge trapping and recombination. On the other hand the system exhibits high stability
