Abstract :
In this paper, we present an extension of 2.5-D diffraction tomography to viscoacoustic media with an application to laboratory ultrasonic data. The object is clearly identified both on the velocity and Q (quality factor) images. The match between observed and computed seismograms is improved when accounting for the attenuation
