Abstract :
In this paper, a new approach to analysis the period of a permanent magnet focusing structure is presented. A series of simulations with different magnet field period is done with the microwave tube simulator suite (MTSS) [1]. The ratio of radial velocity and axial velocity with different magnet field period is compared.
